BAILEN’s Tired Hearts Club Tour Hits Austin City Limits Festival and the UK

In their radiant new video for “Nothing Left To Give,” (out today) BAILEN, the New York City based siblings, Daniel, David, and Julia Bailen breakthrough life’s hopelessness (and dirty laundry) on one of the year’s most beautifully irresistible tracks. “Brave enough to say, I only have myself to save,” Julia sings through piles of clothes and soapy bubbles in the cinematic clip directed by David Bailen. The track is taken from the group’s exquisite sophomore album Tired Hearts, released earlier this year. Watch the official video for “Nothing Left To Give” HERE.

Julia Bailen on “Nothing Left To Give”:

“Nothing Left to Give” sprung from that feeling of abandonment so crushing, you no longer care if everything goes wrong. It’s a mantra to help me crawl out of a depression hole¾so I can clean my room for the first time in a while, call a friend when I need to talk, or keep an overwhelming day in perspective even when it feels like you won’t survive it.”

Currently in the midst of the Tired Hearts Club Tour, BAILEN will perform once again on the second weekend of Austin City Limits Fest October 13, before beginning a run of UK shows on October 29 in Manchester, England.  Find the full itinerary below.

On Tired Hearts, Daniel, David, and Julia BAILEN delivered an alluring set of songs that navigates the space between the heart’s expectation and the head’s sober reality. At times both intricate and playful, measured and elaborate, the album’s 12 original songs wrestle with an uncertain future where ethics and morality—both communal and personal—are constantly shifting.

Produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Waxahatchee) and BAILEN, and mixed by Lars Stalfors (Soccer Mommy, St. Vincent, Local Natives) Tired Hearts’ taut, synth-driven tracks are centered around BAILEN’s radiant harmonies and adventurous arrangements furthering the group’s exhilarating avant-pop evolution.
