GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band SWITCHFOOT along with two-time Billboard Award winning, acclaimed electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling share a new version of the band’s song “VOICES.” The song originally appeared on SWITCHFOOT’s latest album Native Tongue which debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Rock Albums chart.
SWITCHFOOT’s front man Jon Foreman on the collaboration:
“Lindsey is such a talented, bright light! We love her! She played our annual charity event, (the 15th annual Switchfoot BroAm) and instantly she felt like family. Lindsey had a deep understanding of the meaning of the song ‘VOICES’ and had an incredible concept for the video. This collaboration on this video and remix was a wonderful experience: like-minded souls chasing after the same goal. Our hope is that this video would encourage all of us to move past the voices of fear and doubt and begin to listen to a much larger reality.”
Lindsey Stirling on her vision for the music video:
“I love working with the SWITCHFOOT guys because faith is something we both value. Through this video we wanted to share the message that outside voices don’t define you. There is a much stronger voice that comes through you and that voice can change your love for yourself and transform the impact you have on those around you.”
