Esquire.com debuted Grace Potter’s new track and video, “Back to Me,” off her forthcoming album Daylight, due out October 25th via Fantasy Records.  “Back to Me” features supreme vocalists, Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of the indie band Lucius and is now streaming and available HERE.  “Back to Me” follows the albums first single “Love is Love,” which Paste described as “the kind of song that’ll stop you dead in your tracks.”

Produced by Potter’s husband Eric Valentine, Daylight is Potter’s first new album in four years and took root at the couple’s home in Topanga Canyon, Calif. The album mirrors many of the emotional events Potter endured over the last several years including a painful divorce and the breakup of her band— as well as far more joyful events like a new marriage and the birth of her first child. Daylight was recorded at Valentine’s Barefoot Recording studio in Hollywood and features guitarist Benny Yurco, drummer Matt Musty, Benmont Tench and Larry Goldings on keys as well as backing vocals from Lucius.

Grace will headline her annual Grand Point North musical festival which kicks off its 9th season in Burlington, Vermont this weekend with Gov’t Mule, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, J.S Ondara and Trombone Shorty and Lucius to name a few. Potter founded the festival in 2011 to celebrate the local music scene while welcoming some of today’s biggest artists.

Described by Spin as “one of the greatest living voices in rock today,” Grace Potter has not only played every major music festival from Coachella and Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo and Rock in Rio, she’s created her own thriving music festival, Burlington’s Grand Point North.  Additionally, she’s shared a stage with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Robert Plant, the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Mavis Staples, and The Roots to name just a few. Potter has also collaborated with the Flaming Lips for a Tim Burton film, written and produced music for film and TV and recorded two GRAMMY-nominated, multiplatinum singles with her friend Kenny Chesney. Details for Potter’s 2020 headlining tour will be announced soon.
