Emerging NYC based trio BAILEN is set to join multi-platinum selling Irish singer-songwriter Hozier for the second leg of his Wasteland, Baby U.S. tour. The run of shows kicks off on May 21st in Jacksonville, FL with stops across the east coast and Midwest before ending in Los Angeles at the famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery on June 18th. BAILEN will soon follow with their own headlining U.S. west coast tour that begins on June 22nd, 2019. Full routing is below, for more information please visit www.bailentheband.com.

Last week, BAILEN released their highly anticipated debut album Thrilled To Be Here (Fantasy Records) to wide acclaim. Produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, The War on Drugs), the album has earned praise from outlets including NPR Music, Billboard and Rolling Stone who observed “it’s impossible not to hear echoes of CS&N and Fleetwood Mac in their gloriously yelled harmonies, with strains of TLC and Destiny’s Child.” The album’s striking lead single “I Was Wrong” is currently Top 20 at Triple A Radio.

BAILEN recently took their stellar live show overseas for their first-ever headlining dates in the UK which included a sold-out show at London’s St. Pancras Old Church and a performance at this year’s The Great Escape Festival.

BAILEN’s otherworldly musicality springs from a very deep well. Raised in New York by their classically trained parents, fraternal twins Daniel (vocals/bass/synth/guitar) and David ((vocals/drums) with younger sister Julia (vocals/guitar), immersed themselves in the family’s diverse record collection.

The group’s highly collaborative songs are formed by three very different individuals who were all inspired by literature and a love of language. The resulting songcraft of Thrilled To Be Here is rooted in the young group’s preternatural dexterity, insight and lyrical bite.

The group emerged by cultivating a passionate following via their live show, guesstimating over 300 shows to date, and touring and collaborating with such artists as The Lone Bellow, Joseph, and Oh Wonder among others.
