Today, NYC based trio BAILEN (Daniel, David and Julia Bailen) shared their cover of Billie Eilish’s hit song “When The Party’s Over.” The sibling’s other-worldly harmonies add a fascinating layer of brightness to the track’s eerie edge.

On why they connected with this track the band explained, “This song blew us away the second we heard it. We felt the harmony really lent itself to our voices and that we could do an interesting arrangement of it. It’s one of those songs where the original recordings is so perfect, it’s hard to improve, but we wanted the challenge to make it our own.”

Earlier this month, the band shared the previously unreleased track “25 For The Last Time” along with the radio edit for the group’s soaring 2nd single, “Something Tells Me” – listen HERE.  The gorgeous, reflective “25 For The Last Time” was recorded just prior to the band’s sessions for their acclaimed John Congleton produced (St. Vincent, The War on Drugs) debut album Thrilled To Be Here, out now via Fantasy Records.

BAILEN are currently in the midst of their Fall 2019 headlining tour playing a slew of dates on the west coast and in the mid-west before returning to the east coast for a hometown show in NYC at The Bowery Ballroom in December. The fall tour follows an incredible run of dates this past spring opening for Hozier and Amos Lee. Coming up next month the band will take a quick break from their own tour to open for indie rock band Local Natives in London as a part of their Spiral Choir European tour. All tickets are on sale now – full routing is below. For more information and tickets please visit www.bailentheband.com.
