Lukas Nelson & American Wild Horse Campaign
Growing up on a ranch near Austin, TX., the protection and well-being of horses was an important part of family life for Lukas Nelson. So it’s no surprise that the acclaimed singer-songwriter and Promise of the Real band leader would use his time, energy and platform to bring awareness to an issue so close to his heart. The American Wild Horse Campaign is America’s leading voice on protecting and preserving wild horses and burros in the US and are committed to helping enact and enforce policies, standards and methods that improve the population management and resource allocation of public lands.
Lukas and Promise of the Real’s Logan Metz, recently participated in the 3rd annual American Wild Horse Campaign’s Stay Wild Benefit, a virtual hour featuring breathtaking footage of wild horses and burros, a silent auction and special appearances by celebrities and influencers from around the country.
